Temporary Prohibition of all Traffic Restriction

A temporary prohibition of all traffic restriction has been put in place to allow Hatton Traffic Management to carry out building repair works which are expected to commence 8th August 2024 and anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.

Location: C5016 Kirkby-in-Furness, from its junction with the U5089, extending in a westerly direction for approx. 90m.

Alternative Route: A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available as follows;

South East bound Traffic: via the unrestricted sections of C5016, A595 (Grizebeck), A5092 (Lowick), B5281 and King Street, Dalton Gate and Stockbridge Lane.

North West bound Traffic: via the unrestricted sections of C5016, Stockbridge Lane, Daltongate, Queen Street, A590 County Road, Brewery Street, Fountain Street, B5281 (Lowick), A5092 (Grizebeck) and A595 (Kirkby-in-Furness).

Access for Emergency Vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
